HAPPINESS COMES FROM THE INSIDE AND CANNOT BE ASSOCIATED WITH MATERIAL THINGS

HOW TO DISCIPLINE YOURSELF TO BE HAPPY

As I said earlier weigh the reason why you are unhappy and the positive effect you will get when you are happy balance the two and say to yourself, no matter what happens to me in life, no matter the situation I go through in life I must always be cheerful, I must always be happy.

NEVER ASSOCIATE HAPPINESS WITH MATERIAL THINGS

Some people have everything they could ever wish for, but they still find themselves unhappy because they feel a little area of their life is lacking whilst some people’s life have been destroyed by several crisis but they still look back and smile and say to themselves I am still alive despite all odds. This is so because the later has been able to discipline himself towards those things that are supposed to be giving him sleepless nights. Happiness comes from the inside regardless of the possessions you have acquired.

WORRYLESS ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO CHANGE

There are situations in your life that are unchanging one which can be about your physical appearance may be you were born that way. Some people complain about almost everything, and even worry about things that shouldn’t be worried about. Example of which could be; oh! It is too sunny, or its been raining all week, wow! This place is too stuffy and you find them talking and talking and talking about these issues that nothing can be done about, issues that are natural therefore, things that are very impossible to change try as much as possible to discipline yourself on how to let go and be happy.

Some people are in positions where they feel they ought not to be. I will tell you, you must have heard this over and over again, the God that kept you till this day never dozes nor slumber. Always remember people have greater problems than you in this world.

DETACH YOURSELF FROM THINGS THAT KEEPS YOU IN A CONSTANT STATE OF UNHAPPINESS.

85% of our happiness will come from happy relationships with other people. Unfortunately fully 85% of our unhappiness and problems will be associated with other people as well. We let people in and out of our lives but they do not define us.

Zen Buddism teaches that the main causes of human suffering and unhappiness is attachment.  People become attached to ideas, opinions materials things and they are reluctant to let go of them.

No 1 rule to happiness, learn to detach yourself from things that can steal your happiness

Is it childlessness? You have been to several hospitals and the doctors are saying you are ok; but yet you have been unable to conceive. You don’t have to think about it for long when there is someone that you can always lean on. Are you presently in a financial crisis? God can always change that situation for you. Detach yourself and run to God. Are you physically challenged? He has always been called the mighty healer, now is the time to run to him.

In the nutshell “nothing” at all should steal your happiness, you deserve to be happy, face it, focus on it, and just be happy.

POPE FRANCIS ON ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE COVER - FEBRUARY ISSUE

Papal celebrity former Archbishop Buenos Aires, Bergoglio now Pope Francis is on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine after already appearing on the cover of TIME Magazine. He is said to be the first pontiff to grace the cover of Rolling Stone. He's on the cover of the music magazine's Feb. 13 issue as part of an in-depth profile entitled "The Times They Are A-Changin".

According to Rolling Stone Magazine
His recognizable humanity comes off as positively revolutionary. Against the absurd, impossibly baroque backdrop of the Vatican, a world still run like a medieval court, Francis' election represents what his friend Elisabetta Piqué, an Argentine journalist who has known him for a decade, calls "a scandal of normality."
Since his election last March, Francis has consistently confounded expectations with the simplest of gestures: surprising desk clerks at the hotel where he'd been staying during the papal conclave by showing up to pay his own bill; panicking bodyguards by swigging from a cup of maté (the highly caffeinated tealike beverage popular throughout South America) handed to him by a stranger during a visit to Brazil; cracking up cardinals with jokes at his own expense hours after being elected (to those assembled at his first official dinner as pope, he deadpanned, "May God forgive you for what you've done").
After the disastrous papacy of Benedict, a staunch traditionalist who looked like he should be wearing a striped shirt with knife-fingered gloves and menacing teenagers in their nightmares, Francis' basic mastery of skills like smiling in public seemed a small miracle to the average Catholic. But he had far more radical changes in mind.
By eschewing the papal palace for a modest two-room apartment, by publicly scolding church leaders for being "obsessed" with divisive social issues like gay marriage, birth control and abortion ("Who am I to judge?" Francis famously replied when asked his views on homosexual priests) and – perhaps most astonishingly of all – by devoting much of his first major written teaching to a scathing critique of unchecked free-market capitalism, the pope revealed his own obsessions to be more in line with the boss' son.

BEAUTY TIPS FOR THE SEXY LADIES - HOW TO BEGIN

Hello ladies,

So, most of you would probably love me to start out the 1st article with what every girl wants to achieve right now, the perfect brows. Or what every woman wants, to look 5 years younger. Well, I would love to cut the chase and head for the kill but no. This right here is going to be a gradual process and we are starting off with baby steps, because the things you deem as unimportant could end up being the factor you've been missing all along.
With that said, lesson 1 is focused on teaching you the techniques of concealer, foundation and powder application. I know what you're thinking, "is this a joke?", well, its not and you will be surprised at how sloppy people could be when it actually comes down to this.

No1: The Concealer

The purpose of the concealer unlike foundation is not just to give the face a nice finish but to COVER spots, blemishes etcetera, hereby making the face appear smoother and the make-up, flawless. Now, most people tend to apply the concealer like the foundation, by just rubbing it all over, when instead it should be dabbed on not rubbed. It can be applied in as many layers as necessarily required to cover what needs to be covered and only on affected areas.

It should not b applied all over unless you have a serious case of acne, in which case you should be careful of how much you put on, as the concealer tends to be heavy and cakes easily. Also, when using the concealer, it is always advisable to use a shade darker than your actual skin shade, as this covers better and due to its nature to cake, when you use a foundation that is your skin shade, it blends it out better and you do not end up looking like snow white.

No2: The Foundation

The foundation is applied to all parts of the face in a backwards pattern in order to make sure it touches all the required places, like the hairline, the ears, the jaw leading down to the neck, cause believe me, you do not want to walk around looking like you are wearing a mask. The foundation however is meant to give the face a smooth and nice appearance and if concealer was previously applied, to blend it in better and give it a better finish.
The foundation should be applied with a foundation brush or with the use of your hands.
Be careful not 2 press too hard, especially on the areas having concealer, as to not smudge it.

No3: The Powder

For your powder application, you also apply it in the same backwards pattern as the foundation for the same reasons which are to meet all the necessary places. You could apply using your powder brush or a puff, popularly known as "foam". I personally prefer to use the puff as it gives it a better mat look.

                                                                                                                  Yours truly,

today's inspiration was my lesson (continuation)

Think of what you could possibly do that is capable of changing your present mood.

I woke up at dawn this morning with the mindset of writing a story about a woman popularly known as Mrs Nkoli. Since I had in mind what I was going to write, I went back to bed. When it was the break of dawn, my mum woke me up with a harsh tone in her voice, thinking it was for our normal morning devotion, she said “ Zita those pots and utensils you guys used to cook make sure you don’t leave for work without cleaning them up” and I was barely awake as at the time. You know how it feels knowing you are waking up with an extra morning duty. When I finally woke I was so angry because I felt I was the only one doing the whole domestic chores in the house. When I know fully well I have an elder sister at home who does nothing except for on Sundays when she cooks.

As we were saying our morning devotion, I wasn’t concentrating, all that was in my head was how I would tell my mum that she wasn’t fair enough in her delegation of duties in the house, and that I and my sister also goes to work and most times she comes back before me but I will still be the one to make dinner for everyone in the house.

I was pondering over all these even after I had done what my mum instructed me to do. I prepared for work carrying a moody face all through. When I was in the vehicle on my way to work, that was when it dawn on me that I was actually unhappy and I said to myself, “wow I’m not bright this morning and I feel sad from the inside. I felt irritated at everything around me; anybody that talks it seemed to me like they were saying bullshit or I felt like I should tell them to just shut their mouth.

It was then I realized I was also an inspiration to myself, because I was preaching about being happy and staying happy but I was actually doing the opposite that was when the inspiration came to me and I felt I had to change the story from Mrs. Nkoli to Miss Zita.

This is to say no one is perfect except God and all we need is just self-discipline, self-control and self-mastery as Brian Tracy would say so as to achieve total happiness. I thought of what could cheer me up and brighten my day. Two things actually came to my mind, the first was to start working and the second was to make a call, that is to speak to someone who I was such would cheer up at the end of our conversation although, I had to play some little pranks before I could get him to call me.

This brings us to an exercise for today, think of the things you could possibly do, or the person you could possibly be with or talk to as I did that revive your mood when you feeling unhappy or disturbed. Some people listening to music could help them, playing with their kids could also help them, being with their partners could help them, saying a quiet prayer (i.e talking to God could also help) etc. think of what you could do or rather find out the things that interests you that could put a smile on your face again.

Secondly, some of the things that gets us upset are basically trivial issues and most times the other person we are angry at don’t even have us in mind at all, we just get angry and keep causing unnecessary damage to our health. You just have to be happy, because you owe yourself that.

DESMOND ELLIOT'S FAMILY RELOCATES TO GIVE KIDS BETTER EDUCATION

Interesting News:

Famous actor,  Desmond Elliot has relocated to United State with his wife and children. The relocation was not just because of the luxury and fun abroad but because the wonderful father wants to give his children a better education. JUST BE HAPPY (AN INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE)

JUST BE HAPPY

Is there any reason for you to be unhappy? Just have a rethink, why should I be happy?

There is every reason why you should be happy; you have every reason to be happy. Aristotle wrote in one of his books, that the ultimate purpose of man is to be happy. If you are not happy, what else are you doing in this world? To be happy is one of the reasons why God created us in the first place. When he first created man, he gave man dominion over all the things he created; this is so that man can live happily.

I have an exercise for you, just pause for two minutes and think, am I happy in the present situation I find myself? If yes, you can carry on but if no, state the issues that are giving you sleepless nights, that is making you unable to smile and making you shrink inside and then address those issues head on.

My mentor Brian Tracy in one of his books of self discipline said that human beings are purposeful, striving towards achieving goals and end results. However, behind each goal lies another goal and then still another
goal until you finally arrive at the first moving force in life. This always turns out to be the desire to be happy.

Everyone wants to ride this latest car, want to wear expensive dresses and make ups, want to live in a mansion, want to look healthy and want to eat a good meal etc our wants are insatiable, after achieving all these the first thing that happens is that our brain releases endorphins that makes us happy. There is no feeling that as good as when u want something, you are able to get it.

You owe yourself happiness; no one else can do it for you.
